Seventeen and Counting

We are moving again.  This is number seventeen in eleven years.  When we were first married and  I encouraged my husband to go to college, I never would have imagined that we were going to go through nine years of college (recieving a Dr. in vet med.), and moving quite so much.  Needless to say...we don't have much to move.  In fact we don't have a couch anymore (too much work), we are tossing the tv and stand this time (we don't watch them), and when I just packed my girls toys, they all fit nicely in three small boxes.  Hopefully this will be our last town though.  It saddens me to make friends and then leave.  I have met many wonderful people through the years and I miss them whole heartedly.  I would like to be settled, but that is not what God has given us....instead; we have memories of many places and have precious friends scattered across the entire United States.  I will miss my current home, but look forward to the next surprise around the corner.  And really...aren't we all just temporary squatters here untill we return to our true home with our amazing Father and incredible family of brothers and sisters in Christ?
