Not a Problem

Someone asked me today what we decided to do about the Wii.  (From my January post)
We have it, we also have this little 13 inch cheapo t.v. we dug out of storage that we let the kids use.  For  a couple of weeks it was a huge hit, and actually kind of annoying.  All my oldest could think about was the video game, she wouldn't go outside, didn't want to play with her sisters, read, nothing.  So, we just started saying no and redirecting, even to the point of putting her to work whenever she asked to play.  Pretty soon it wasn't a big deal anymore.  Now she says, maybe if we have some time we could do a family Wii night this week.  That's much better.
As I sit here typing I am trying to remember the last time we played the game.  I think it's been two months.  There is so much to do outside now that the sun is out.
