Frugal shopping tip

I can not stress enough how important it is to get well acquainted with your local grocer.  There are many deals to be had if one pays attention.  Two days ago I checked out the discount dairy section and found 1/2 gallons of whole milk for $.99, I grabbed a few.  They also always have yogurts in a bin that are close to expiration date for $.25.  The meat department also has a special little section of discount meats.  And sometimes, if you hit it right, you can get great cuts of steak for the same price per pound as ground beef.
Oh, and one section I have mentioned before, is the discount produce corner.  Last week I got two packs of organic cherry tomatoes for $.99  and a bag of multicolored peppers for $1.29.
Look about, there are deals to be had.
