It's loud out there

Good Monday morning!
It's snowing again.  It's quite cold outside again.

Even though the weather outside is frightful, we enjoyed yesterday in our warm, cozy house playing board games.  A friend was visiting and our entire afternoon was spent playing games, making home made chicken soup, home made Parmesan popcorn, and lots of hot cocoa, tea, and coffee.

How are you all?  It is hard not to let winter get us down.  It's also hard not to let the worries of the world trouble us, especially when there is nothing to do but follow the news and fret over what's happening.
Maybe your own world feels a little crazy right now?  ....paycheck's  small, loan company is to loud, stuffy nose, ran out of milk, zipper broke...who knows?  Whatever it is, it is nothing compared to eternity.  There is good around every corner if we choose to see it.

When it all feels like too much it is good to slow down, find a quiet spot, and enjoy life.  The world is noisy and tries to distract us from living.  Turn off the t.v., the radio, computer, cell phone, home phone, i pad, i pod, and whatever else is screaming at you for attention and enjoy the peace.
