Because of having to buy bananas and some ezekiel bread for our trip to grandma's house, I am down to about 11.oo out of my twenty. Um, don't think I am going to make it two more weeks. but that doesn't mean I am not going to try to keep it close. :)
It has been an interesting culinary adventure just eating what we have in our fridge, freezer, and pantry.
For instance today we finished the elk salami with some cheddar cheese. Also, while foraging around, I found a bottle of some yummy salad dressing/ marinate called Garlic Expressions. I sliced up a tomato and a cucumber and drizzled the oily goodness over everything and let sit for twenty minutes marinating. For a grain we had Quinoa cooked in chicken broth and garlic. It was a very tasty meal that I probably wouldn't have thought of if I had chips and bread in the cupboard.
Once again I am stumped for supper.
We have frozen chicken tendrloins I could pull out or there is a can of tuna fish down in the pantry to be used. Hmmm what to do?
