Right now I am looking out my back door at the little box garden we planted this spring.
There is lettuce growing and overflowing the sides of the box. Spinach is everywhere, cilantro reaching up to the sun and cucumbers, basil, and purple peppers getting stronger day by day.
It has been so fun to see everything growing and to be able to go pick a salad for dinner from our own yard.
It is good to work and get my hands a little dirty.
It is good to show the joy of playing in the yard to our children.
It is good to let them nibble on the fruits of their labor as I pick a bowl of greens for the family.
