Yesterday I was talked in to covering for someone who signed up for a Marathon relay and could not make it. 
I have never done a marathon relay before.
And today, I wonder what on earth was I thinking?!
These are athletes people!
I am not necessarily marathon material.
In fact the ice-cream bar I had a little bit ago says so.  Yup, not an official athlete.
But on the other hand, I just ran a 4.5 race in the foothills of MT. on gravel, hills, and 95 degree heat. 
At the end I passed some amazing 70 yr. old guy and came in to receive 10th woman overall and 3rd in my age group.
Ok, somewhere deep inside I might be athletic.
But don't you dare try to take away my ice-cream.
