It takes me awhile deciphering my two yr. old's requests. Here is today's interesting new word.
"Mom, I want a handy dandy." smile, blink, blink.
"A what?" I say.
She then runs to the bathroom, grabs a rubber band and brings it to me.
"I want a handy dandy in my hair."
Oh, that's two yr. old talk for pony tail.
Learning how to ask for what we want...do we get any better at it? I'm sure I am being perfectly clear....a handy dandy!! Yet, there is that blank stare in response.
ReplyDeleteWay to go Mom in giving the time to arrive at the object of her request.
Way to go Rachel in asking and keeping on asking.
"You do not have because you do not ask God" James 4 (There is more to the story there!)
Happy Valentines Day to all!

I love it when kids say funny things. It's my favorite.
