Well, I have heard that the Lord will not give you more than you can handle.....
and He knows my weaknesses, there is only one baby in there. I am humbly relieved. The baby was very healthy looking and was jetting around like it owned the place. :) It's a little more exciting when you can see the little fingers, toes, and even the heart beating. I am 12 weeks along and that is better than the nine weeks my Dr. thought. It is always nice to find out that you are further along than thought.
Today it is snowing outside and a cold wind is blowing. We are down to our last few packages of elk meat and on the very bottom I found some stew meat. So today's menu is Elk Stew.
I also had some farm potatoes, frozen tomatoes from our garden last year, and organic celery and carrots from the natural food store. The girls are a little sniffy from the sudden cold weather and I hope some good wholesome stew will revive their immune systems.
Have a great Memorial Holiday.
And please take time to remember the sacrifices of those who serve our country so that we may live free.
I was really hoping you'd have twins so I could live vicariously through you, as I've always wanted to have two at once.
ReplyDeleteBut 12 weeks, that sounds nice. 12 weeks is when I always start feeling good. More energy, starting to get just enough belly to be cute but not so much that you feel weighed down.
Plus, pregnancy looks good on you.
Congratulations again.
