Children are a blessing

I was just reading a blog, (while I am thinking about not being lazy..whoops!)  that was talking about the new idea going around about lowering our carbon footprint.  This idea is brilliant!  The suggestion is to slow the rapid growth of the human race down...you know, maybe only have one child or none at all.  This would significantly lower the impact that has been taking place on the environment for a couple of thousand yrs.  by "gasp!" the human race.
I have a proposal to add to that.  I think that those suggesting this great campaign should be the one's to start the process.  They need to be examples and I think they should get their kids and close friends involved.  This should be say, a thirty to forty year experiment and then they should let us now how it is going.....that is if there is any of them left. :0 
Anyways, as I am sitting here with my three beautiful children I think we will contribute to the environment by walking to the store, planting a garden, and eating leftovers tonight.  Oh, and I am wearing the same pair of pants I have worn for four years now.
