The other day our girls were playing with scissors on the sly. Ellianna, age 4, decided to cut her hair. They come to us holding out this chunk of hair with looks of horror on their little faces. At first I thought it was worse than it was and I said "oh no, now we will have to cut your hair short to make it all match." Elli then proceeded to cry and said "but I still want to be a girl!"
Oh, sweet children.
(It's not as bad as we thought, so we are going to leave it...and she can still be a girl.)
