I was reading my google news home page just now and I was shocked...but maybe not.  I have it set to only list the top news stories of the day and guess what is so extremely important to our shallow little brains that it was newsworthy?
The White House representative, Mr. So and so has clearly stated that they will not have the Presidential address be during the season premier of "Lost".  They wouldn't want to disrupt our viewing pleasure or make people upset that have been waiting for this big premier.  Say what?  The speech given by the pres. of the United States and his thoughts on our future, war, and etc. are overridden by a t.v. show?  Really?  Are we living in Zombie land?  No wonder it is so easy for these folks to take away our rights one by one.  We don't care, just don't interrupt my t.v. show.
