An observation

When God put Adam in the garden, He told him to take care of things.  Keep up the garden, name the animals and stuff.  You know, be productive.
Well, this morning I thought, what are our poor city dweller husbands to do?  There aren't any gardens to work in, no animals to name and take care of, no wood to chop (for many of them), no food to catch.
So, last night when the snow started to fly at about 9 p.m., I began to hear a strange sound.  Scraping, loud scraping.  I then looked for my man.....he was gone.  I followed the sound of scraping and found not only my man, but the neighbor man, and further down the street another man.  They were silhouetted against the street lights in the gray darkness shoveling the snow.  This morning, before the coffee finished brewing, I heard them again.  The men.  They were shoveling in the dark, working, sweating, doing what they were set out to do from the beginning of time.  Work, be productive, take care of something.
After about 30 minutes my man came in the house red faced, soaking wet, and grinning from ear to ear.  If this amazing transformation is what happens to the men in our neighborhood when it snows,  then I say....Let it Snow!
