This morning Ellie decided that while Sarah worked on her math we should don some aprons and work on making some cookies. So we went through the process with amazing precision for a four yr old and got the first batch in the oven.
I sat down to help Sarah with her math and didn't hear the buzzer go off. "You burned the cookies mom!"says Ellie. I replied, "that's ok I'll try to pay attention and not burn them next time."
She gave me that serious mom look and states, "don't try mom just do it."
