For part of our schooling this morning we watched a couple of videos on personal safety and instruction on not talking to strangers.
Ellianna (5) was glued to the screen and took it very seriously.
A little while ago I went to go out the back door and found it locked. Then, just now, I went to put mail out the front and the door was dead bolted, chained, and locked on the knob.
She then announces, "no strangers getting in here mom!"
....or anyone else :)
That is very funny! I can't believe she's actually 5!!! I remember when she was just a tiny baby giving you reasons to pray for your sanity.
ReplyDeleteYes it seems she has grown into quite a character. Did I mention she has regular bouts of growling at people? I have tried to explain that it's not polite, but she is wired in a way that growling is her way of playing with you and showing love. Oh-well...try, try, and try some more.
