Blessings

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Our family traveled a couple of hours on some very bad roads to be with my parents and some of my siblings for the holiday.
It was fun, we ate, played cards, ate, played wii, ate, went sledding, ate, and watched movies.  Did I mention we ate?
Oh, my.
What a blessing to live in a country where we have vehicles and gas to travel.  What a blessing to live in a country that has a grocery store on every corner.  What a blessing to be able to spend two whole days with family and not have to worry about who is going to carry in the water, shovel a path to the outhouse, and if there is enough potatoes in the pantry to feed everyone.
What a blessing to live in a country that allows us to worship God freely, sing praises to Him, and own our own bibles without fear.  What a blessing.

  1. L.O.L... we felt like it was a total blessing to have a pond in the backyard. We didn't mind hauling the water inside; we were just grateful to have water available. :)

It was a fun adventure; however, we were even more thankful to have the power turn back on.

It sounds like you had a blessed Thanksgiving celebration!

    Love you guys~
