I just cut into a squash my mother in law gave me from her huge garden. For some reason, as I scooped out the beautiful white seeds, I thought "why can't I grow my own squash?"
So, I googled saving squash seeds and set to work cleaning them and setting them out to dry.
Google says to use heirloom seeds. I am pretty sure that's what they are, if I know my mother in law. She saves lots of seeds from her garden and so I am crossing my fingers.
I am also dreaming of summer and watching the squash flowers bloom.
