Last night I went to the swim center to put in a few laps on my own.
While changing, I realized that there is a fourth type of locker room gal. :)
It's the sweet little old ladies without a care in the world.
Last night, it took all that was in me not to laugh out loud.
There were these two grandmas changing very slowly and having a conversationabout grand kids and such. One of them, not yet clothed, puts her leg on the bench and declares rather loudly, "Oh My! I need a pedicure!" I just started chuckling and choking back sound. It got better after that, the other lady begins to inspect her toes and then starts talking about the wonder of spas.
I had changed from winter clothes, to suit, and used the bathroom while these ladies
slowly got dressed. They were still in their undies talking about Christmas and gift certificates when I left.
There is always something to smile about even when facing swimming laps in an ominous looking
pool.
