Today I called on a house that has been for sale for almost two years at a very high price. I inquired if the seller would be willing to rent it to us for not very much, but we would take care of it, plant flowers and show it for her because the seller is in India.
The realtor said she had just spoken to the owner a couple of days ago about renting and that she was very open to the idea.
We may know as soon as tonight if we can have the home. It is 5 bedrooms 3 baths and on 2 acres with a shop. I am so excited. It will be amazing if the owner accepts my low offer for rent, so I am not getting my hopes up too high.
I feel giddy like Christmas is coming. :)
That's so exciting!! I'll be praying for good news! Makes me hopeful we might be able to negotiate something for one of the houses that's been on the market here when our lease is up this summer.

Yes, yes I will let you know. We are truly thankful for the house we are in right now, but two bedrooms for a family of five is tight, especially in the winter. I hope to hear today. The owner is in India, so she is on a different time than we are.
