Our eight year old daughter has been asking for ways to make money. After about the third day of begging for more chores, I asked her what she wanted money for.
She said,
"When I am old enough to move out, I want to have enough to buy a house."
Wow. That is a big, wonderful goal.
I wish I had started saving at eight for a house.
Jokingly we asked her if we could live in her new house with her. She said "sure, until you can afford to buy your own."
Papa and I laughed and laughed. So like your number one child!!
