What's to eat?

Lately, with the price of groceries going up, we have been trying to eat what is in our house without running to the store every two to three days.  It is hard to get used to.
The hardest part for me is looking in the fridge and coming up with new ideas on what to feed the family that isn't our usual stand byes.
Today I took a leftover steak, chopped it up fine and mixed it with a can of tomato soup and frozen veggies.  I then grabbed some leftover baked potatoes and mashed them with sour cream, butter, a little cream, cheddar cheese, salt seasoning and then spread it on top of the steak and veggies.  Cook for 40 min. in the oven and walla, Shepard's Pie!
The kids loved it and we didn't run to the store.
