This is our seventeenth home, sometimes
it doesn't feel fair.
Starting all over, even though it's been a year,
Loneliness creeps in and my direction isn't clear.
Want to come over have a cup of
Oh to have a visitor, or two, or three.
I wish I could say I was on my way,
ReplyDeletebut we are down in Florida today.
Could really use a visit with an old friend like you,
and chat over a cup of coffee or two.
And our kids could run outside and play,
coming in for sips of hot cocoa all day.
I miss you, Carrie, and your hubby John, too.
One day when we're rich we'll often visit you.
